In October 1997 a very dear friend of mine died from cancer.  It was way too early in life for him to pass and caused me to take a serious inventory of my own life experiences.

During that time I kept returning to my Ultralight flying days as my best personal example of living life to the fullest.  Those memories, along with my treasured photo album, then triggered me to write a web site called The Ultralight Experience.  Though I had lived that story, I found myself with dreams of flying that seemed brand new, dreams that I couldn't shake off, as I once did, and put away on a shelf.  I wanted to go out and burn brand new holes in the sky.

When I learned how trikes had evolved during my lengthy stay on the ground, suddenly there was no turning back - I had discovered the perfect flyin' machine for me.

Now, six months later, my new experiences and related photographs are enough to serve up these several web pages.  Over time there will surely be more.

Meanwhile, should I depart this world in similar sudden fashion, let it be known that I will have left on a real high.  Fred, this is for you.
